Illinois man suspected of trafficking marijuana

Being found in possession of drugs can lead to serious charges. The quantity of drugs found can also affect the charges you might face, as larger amounts may also suggest that you intend to distribute the substances. Drug trafficking, like many drug-related charges carries hefty penalties, ranging from fines to jail time. One young man from Illinois is currently experiencing this firsthand after being arrested on suspicion of felony drug violations.

The 20-year-old from North Aurora was arrested in July 2012. It is alleged that he was heading to meet undercover officers to whom he was expected to sell marijuana. According to a Master Sergeant of Illinois State Police, the accused had made three previous sales of the substance to officers. Following his arrest, his vehicle and later his home was searched.
